Human wants being insatiable is one observation made by the study 📚 of Economics, and one that has continued to prove to us as a quote that studied the behavioral nature of man and never will be wrong. This means that man users every opportunity they have or get to seek for something that will benefit them. Or that because of the nature of man, greed always present itself in every chance we human see as an opportunity.
Growing up I hard and see many females whose names are Charity and as an adult when I checked it out in the dictionary , it showed me it means kindness and tolerance. Which simply means showing kindness to others especially those who needs help from us
In another meaning of charity, it showed me that charity is an Organization set up to provide help and raise money for those in need, which mostly must be a non-profit making organization who voluntarily gives and reaches out to the less privileged. Voluntary giving of help, typically in the form of money 💰.
But the world 🌎 today has changed everything. Charity is no longer what it is as many are using the opportunity they have to collect money 💰 and other items from people, pretending they are in charge of an orphanage, but the money 💴 and other items hardly gets to those they represent. So am always skeptical when giving money or items to any Charity Organizations
The best thing I do to make sure what I give gets to the orphanage is paying them visit when ever am ready. Actually one of senior sisters visits the orphanage during every festivity period to donate what ever she has planned to give to the children for celebration. This has helped me to know how to make sure that what am giving to the children is getting to them because first and foremost, seeing how the children looks will confirm to you if they are properly being taken care of by those who represent the organization. And like the old saying has always stand - which says “seeing is believing.
Although there are many individuals who represent some orphanages who still can not give account but I believe what we do as humans must surely comes back to us so that is why we must always be careful by using others for our own personal gains. Many individuals might think they are enjoying by using others, but no, life does not work that way.
In my place of worship we donate many items to a department that I belong to called Beautification Department. Every month we the members of this department will work on Saturdays to help arrange all the donations, especially clothings, shoes, as the cash donation is handled by the account section to know those in line to give cash donations. So we will package 📦 these things and take it to another section of the church where they will be kept for the less privileged pick up. This is another way to make sure that what the people donated are being handled rightly.
However, another way I love given or donating to people is by personal contact. Charity giving must not be only through organizations. I do reach out to individuals personally either in my church or neighborhood and give them the things I have arranged for them, because the needy are everywhere, as you can see them merely by just looking at them. There are some families who hardly can afford foods, medicals and even clothing, so we must not wait until we go to the orphanage or give to those that represent the orphanages.
In conclusion, charity is what we should do from our mind despite expecting full accountability because its a kindness from our heart ♥. It come in cash form and comes in kindness of other ways. So to be fully sure and happy about given, we need to get involved, pay attention, ask those that represent others questions on things you want to know. Although sometimes we might not get full accountability, but at least we have to tty because what we give matters to those that needs it. And our mind will always be at peace if we see that someone’s life has been touched through our giving.
