Todayās creative Sunday is one I value so much, because this recipe is all about something we donāt inculcate in our everyday roaster meals not knowing how healthy and beneficial it is to our health and immune system.
We all thinks that cucumber š„ is only a vegetable we can eat raw or inculcate in our salads, but cucumber is a vegetable thatās so versatile. We can prepare cucumbers as sauce, gravy or soup adding other vegetables or spices to it, bringing it to the dinning table to enjoy with our family and loved š„° ones .
So today I prepare a cucumber š„ gravy sauce to share as a tutorial and some mashed potatoes to complement the deliciousnessās of this recipe. The season we are in calls for learning new recipes and bringing them on the table. This is meal š„ you will enjoy .
Here I will show you the ingredients and steps for preparing this delicious recipe.
INGREDIENTS:
1 large potatoes
1 medium size cucumber
1 large cherry tomatoes
1 tablespoon of margarine
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon of curry
1/4 teaspoon of thyme
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
Grated nutmeg powder
1/4 sea salt
1/2 of a soy cube
STEPS FOR PREPARATION:
Step 1.
First I will wash the cucumber and the cherry tomatoes. Leave to drain a little, then cut, slice and dice it in cubes.
Step 2.
The cherry tomatoes I will cut and slice in straight lines.
Step 3.
Now that I have this two ready, I will go on to make the cucumber gravy sauce š„.
Step 4.
I will start by adding the margarine in the heated pan, then some oil . Once itās heated up, I will add the cherry tomatoes and stir fry to tender a bit.
Step 5.
Next I will add the cucumber, stir it into the cherry tomatoes and leave both to fry on.
Step 6.
Once the cucumber tenders a bit, I will add all the spices one after another. Stir, then allow to fry absorbing them inn.
Step 7.
I now will add little water to cook more tender the cucumber, then set it down.
Step 8.
Here I will cut, peel and slice the potatoes into small sizes, then set to boil it.
Step 9.
Once the potatoes cooks, I will drain the water, pour it into a bowl š„£ and mash it into a soft texture feel.
Step 10.
And the gravy sauce of cucumber is all ready to be served, A straightforward to prepare recipe with its richness.
