Its a delight to be joining in this amazing topic commencing new week of featured #hiveleaners contents. We have lots of social media platforms which we all know was created for the purpose of either making communication easy or for the purpose of creating awareness of certain informations that can help man in one way or another . Some were even created for the purpose of building relationships that has also helped many connect. These social media platforms ranges from Instagram, Twitter WhatsApp, Facebook, TikTok, Telegram , etc.
If am giving the power to ban one social media platform out of many others for life which will I ban? Frankly speaking I would have want to ban TikTok because its one social media platform I see as a crazy place to be. TikTok is one platform that many are using for content creating and it has also helped many to earn and find a life career but its just so crazy how people just seat 💺 with their phone all day and all week scrolling and watching videos of all kinds and even those that made no sense to me.
TikTok appears to be one of the wildest platform where crazy things are created, put out and expect people to watch. And I tell you that people don’t care because they seat with their phone watching all kinds of videos, even those that might affect the younger generation. No one is concerned on how the younger children and teenagers are being involved in this platforms since they have easy access to them. All the content creators cares about is how many views they get on the created content.
But the issue here is that people out there will see you as the odd one because you have the power to ban their means of earning but don’t have the power to create earning avenues for those you want to stop their earning means . Its sad 😞 that some people are misusing this apps , but we also know that many people have used them as an opportunity to build life careers. So this still boils down to the believe that anything that has an advantage also will have disadvantage. So to just choose to ban TikTok as one of them will practically mean taking away people means of earning while I have nothing to offer them. Although I know the world 🌍 believes in if “one door closes, another door will open”. The computer age is making everything fast paced.
So lets just believe and continue to have it in mind that social media platforms comes with advantages and disadvantages just like every other things to life. Apart from the disadvantages, many have used this social medias to promote their .businesses, services and awareness, making millions of money 💰. And others has kept connecting with people all around the world, many ending in solid relationships. So banning one and leaving the rest is not an option despite knowing that one is better than the other.
However, we should see social media platforms as one big opportunity made possible by those who took out their time in creating them. All we need is to device a way or means by which people’s mindset are changed towards creating better and quality content than those that brings negative impact. And also to make those watching and consuming this contents to only believe in those that are clearly clean and teaching.
