In todayβs creative Sunday, I have made a healthy and nutritional juice π₯€ to share and teach you of how you can make and treat yourself and loved πones to a combination of watermelon π, orange, ginger and lime for maintaining a good immune system. And the festive season is also around the corner, so we should be looking out for those colorful homemade juices we will be preparing from our kitchen.
As we all know watermelon π is rich and high in vitamin A, C and potassium , and can help us in hydrating since it contains about 92% water especially in hot weather days. Orange a fighter of cold and flu with its high vitamin C supply. We can prepare watermelon juice adding any fruit of our choice but I have decided to pair it with orange, ginger and lime, making this juice π₯€ more of a healthy drink.
I thought the combination is perfectly a good healthy juice, so I did not want to add any sugar. The orange added a little sweetness and that citrus flavor taste to this juice, ginger some spice while the squeeze of lime juice added that extra zing. Its so easy, simple and straightforward to make.

INGREDIENTS:
1/4 of a large sizable watermelon
Ginger size of a thumb
1 small size lime
1/2 glass of spring water
STEPS TO PREPARATION:
Step 1.
To prepare this juice , I will first cut the watermelon into half, then slice them in small chunks removing from rind and removing the seeds too.
Step 2.
The orange I will peel, slice open and squeeze out gently the water and pulps keeping it ready too.
Step 3.
I will then peel and grate the ginger to enable it blend well into the watermelon combination mixture recipe.
Step 4.
Here I will pour the watermelon into the blender, adding the orange, grated ginger and some water.
Step 5.
I will cut the lime squeezing the juice into the blender .
Step 6.
Next I will go on to blend the combination gently until it is totally smooth
Step 7.
We can decide to strain or sieve our juice if its a bit pulpy or seeded, but if not, we can go ahead to pour the mixture into a glass π₯ filled with ice or serve the mixture, take it to the refrigerator to chill .
And finally, I have this healthy nutritional juice ready to be chilled. Its so tasteful, full of flavor and delicious. The kind of juice we all need on a weekend to treat ourselves while energizing for a new week.
