This topic is very intriguing as well as sensitive, over time woman all over the world experiences a time in their life that they conceive a baby and this period last for a complete nine months before giving birth to the child, well that is considered as stress to woman and what she has to do is have a good time to rest, even as a non Governmental worker or a civil servant, in any organization one may find her self, it is her right to be given a maternity leave so she can rehabilitate her health which enables her to be fit, strong and have a good time to prepare back for work.
However less attention is always given to the father of the just arrived baby, the is need for the man to go on a paternity leave as well as the woman does, because it's is not only to help her wife at home, but most men are always stressed during this period, always looking for ways to make their pregnant wife feel comfortable, providing insane needs and cravings just to make their wife's feel good, they're time the husband don't sleep at night his job is to look over his wife when she is in pain. Some offices always think that men don't go through any stress therefore they should not go on a leave, this alone can affect the wife, because this th time she needs her husband the most, marriage is just all about being there for each other, this can make the woman feel bad, and makes the man frustrated,
It is in the place of the senior workers to approve a two weeks leave for the man, infact it is our civil right, that a man should go on a paternity leave for two weeks so he can spend time with his family and bound together.
Offering paternity leave for the males workers help boost their work life, it allows him to balance work and family life responsibilities and overall well being, this time is when the man needs some rest so he can perform well at work, when this right is taken away from him, he may not be happy this is another problem to the work he is doing, his mental ability to give out his best automatically reduces.
In so many cases the husband's attention is always need even during the child birth.
So I can imagine myself as a man then my wife is in labour which I'm supposed to be there for her, but the admins of my work place have refused to give me a leave, I might have plans to resign from there to another place.
This is all about family and family should come first before anything else, it's just that things seems to be different in this country which doesn't help families, if a worker leaves without the approval of the administrators he may find himself in problem at work, but it's not healthy, men needs time to strengthen their relationships, paternity leave is very important to men and their family lives.
