Everything in this universe is following a pattern and rhythm. That's rhythm is actually music which is making it's way into our lives.
In every culture, we see many thing related to music and those things are regarded as sacred. In one of my previous post, i was talking about music and i was discussing this point; solar system is following a certain type of frequency and sounds. Those sounds are music.
Music is aesthetic and it has appeal to our senses. Poetry is music because it follows rhyme,rhythm and other patterns. Poetry comes in many shapes. In this world, from the beginning, there are many great poets who have transformed their legacy to all eras and their contribution in literature can never be forgotten.
Either, it's metaphysical poetry, epic poetry or romantic poetry evey type owns a particular position and it follows the pattern of music.
You know why i am talking about poetry in the concept of music? Because music emerged from poetry and it follows the designs of poetry. Although, in recent times many of songs are lacking the real essence of music because they are loosing grip on poetry.
Let's talk about holidays and music.
We will be discussing relationship between holidays and music.
Holidays
In my country, we get holidays two times in an year. Firstly, educational institutions announce holidays in summer and secondly, they announce in winter or particularly in last days of December to cherish the moments of Christmas.
Ramadan & Summer Vacations
Mostly, we get vacations in the month of Ramadan. Ramadan month is sacred month of fasting and it ends with a cherishing day of eid. On eid, we all meet and greet each like and do celebrations. Ramadan holds a special place in my heart.
From childhood, i have bundle of memories which are chained with Month of Ramadan. With the arrival of This month only one song/tune rings in my mind and that is Noor-e-Ramzan.
There are many television shows which i used to watch in month of Ramadan. But, now things and time is changed and routines are no more the same.
In Month of Ramadan, we all family members sit together at the time of dinner and that's the special thing for me. There are many things which are memorable and linked with Ramadan.
December and Christmas
Christian community lives in front of my home. So, from the beginning of my life i have seen the celebrations of Christmas. This amalgamation of celebration is really good and i got deeper understanding of Christianity.
The tune which rings in my heart with the arrival of Christmas is child version of Jingle Bell. I am sure that many of you have listened this song.
There were many plays which we used to play from childhood. If December clicks in my mind then i suddenly think about plays which we used to play. But now time frame is shifted and students/kids are mostly involved in digital stuff.
