Humans, as we are, are complex species. This basically implies that there are a lot of features embedded in us. Apart from the main characteristics of living things that have been classified in the field of biology, we have our emotions. The word 'emotion', which can be interchanged as feeling in this context has a very broad scope. One of which is anger which can be said to be the most voracious of them all.
Anger most times comes from the aggregate feeling of dissatisfaction with something, a situation, a person, or perhaps words. You know, tons of emotions rushing through the veins of the carrier ready to be unleashed. But if not properly controlled or tamed, it can take the best of the host and turn it for the worst.
Naturally, there will always be a time when we would get angry because we are all imperfect humans. But what we do or act on at the time depicts who is the boss between us and our emotions. Also, being angry is tied to the situation which caused it. Like I said earlier, being dissatisfied with an issue that does not look good can make one get angry. But in this case, that feeling can make one speak out against the vices that exist.
Something like that can be likened to what trade unions or labour groups are for. For example, when payments are not increased and work hours were increased or certain earned benefits are not paid duly; getting angry at this is obviously for positive reasons. So in the long run, if the right methods of dialogue and other resolutions are put in place by the parties involved, the issue will get resolved. And then that anger kind of saved the day.
In contrast, anger could be dangerous. The negative effect of untamed anger can ruin the works of a generation done in the past in just some minutes or even seconds. Ordinarily, when someone insults you for a crime you do not commit, for example, one can flair up to the extent that worse things far different from the normal way of clearing one's name can be perpetrated.
In a case like this, what is best is to try and stay calm and think before you act or say anything. As I mentioned before, emotions are rushing through your veins, wanting to let it all out. But if one gives in to that strong urge, one can do stuff that will be regrettable for life. You know, when these things happen, the person loses control and can not even comprehend what he is doing at that very moment. They only see the havoc that has been wreaked after all the monstrous anger has done its worst and came down. Then, eyes are wide open!
Besides this, we can see that anger can cause positive changes too. But only controlled anger, not the outburst of it. In a controlled one, things are not done in a rush or rashly but more organized and strategic ways to solve or abdicate the dissatisfaction emanating from the main issues deep down. Although, the anger, in this case, should perhaps have another name apart from anger. Don’t you think? Because the word anger has always been attributed to a case of being rash. Or what do you think?
Conclusion
It is of utmost importance that if a person is noticed to have a strong temperament, he or she should seek help in order to be able to control it before it takes total control. Anger is something we can not avoid all the days of our lives. But we can avoid making rash decisions in those moments.
