Here, we are at the Hive Leaners week 4 edition 2 prompt:
For Love.
At one time or the other, we all have been in love. Many of us are even in love now. So tell us all those things you can do for love, how far you are willing to go. And then the things you will never do. We would love to know.
Before I proceed you should check out my entry for the last prompt: A GETAWAY: MY UTOPIA.
Now, according to Dictionary.com, love is a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person. I do not know why I believe the kind of love denoted in this prompt is a romantic one. Cos if it were just the general love, I could write about a million words. That’s by the way. Let us just get on with it.
We are all humans in this whole wide but little world. And we all have emotions and feelings. So to love is natural. This brings us to the …the things we do for love.
Would I say I have fallen in love before? Well, I can say yes to that but not completely and unreasonably. My own type of love is not 100% blind🤣. But I am someone such that when I love I am an open book. I believe that once I have not met oe been close to a person before, what others may say about that person may not matter. So, as per the open book, I give it to you to write your self in it through your attitudes and all. But we can not always say love does not hurt at times, but this does not mean I am entirely a bad person. I am a preacher of love!
Like I said earlier on that I do not love unreasonably - I try as much as possible to have my senses, even if it's just a little, in order. Although sometimes, it was infatuation rather than love. Maybe that is why I have not really been heartbroken at all. I have got a string heart 😁. I have built a guard around my heart to be very careful cos I won't not want to be let down.
I’d like to just keep my supposed do’s and don’ts as basic as possible because if I were to expand it all we may not leave here today!
For love, I could do and undo. I could offer you all the support in the world cos I believe your good is mine too. I can go at any length to get you comfortable and have you around so we could spend quality time together. And you could be bombarded with gifts and surprises from me! Such that you could think the love is in the air sky.
Right now, I have some people I give (business) advice - what some pay to get - to without any monetary rewards.. And I would always want to hear your view on matters, even the very personal ones. Moreover, I hardly take things like (childish) insults too personal from a lady I like but you dare not try that when you aint the beloved!. I even remember sometime ago teaching some people for a whole night just before an exam we were to do in the morning, I know you may call me an academician.
But I do not do love unreasonably.Although, I know that they say love can do anything, I disagree. First, I can not for any reason disrespect or turn my back on my family. Not because of anything. This is because I know what my family has been to me even before we met or something.
Well, this may sound funny, I do not think love can make me empty my finances. This is not that I cannot release all of some other things for your betterment but all my financial worth. No! I find it funny when I see people say you can give your all cos of love. This is because we have seen cases,for example, where a man sends a lady to school, pays all the bills and finally the lady said he wasn’t worth her status. But for me, this can only happen when I finally get married to the beloved lady.
So far, love may not be able to convince me to do what I do not like doing as long as it is nefarious. This implies I would not commit a criminal activity all in the name of love. Even as little as tattoos, I do not like them so I don’t think love could make me change to that. Basically, I would not do anything that would tarnish my image and integrity!
All in all, love is a good thing for one to experience. And low-key true love conquers all things!
