Being honest, writing about goals is one of the most difficult undertakings. While I do enjoy making goals, my constant dread of failing to achieve them forces me to either establish low-barrier goals or none at all.
However, I've come to understand that someone without ambitions would just be living a meaningless existence. And someone who has objectives but no strategy for obtaining them could just be boasting in vain.
I prefer to live a life that has a purpose rather than one that is spent aimlessly. Living a life with meaning requires more than simply talking about it; it also requires action. It is a well-known adage that actions speak louder than words.
My Hive goals for the upcoming year.
Humans share the desire to succeed in all of our endeavors as a common trait. I doubt that there is anyone who writes on Hive that doesn't aspire to be a successful blogger or writer, but success doesn't happen just by wishing.
I opened my Hive account in the first quarter of this year, but I didn't start publishing until the second half of the year, so I wasn't able to set any goals for this year other than those that I was asked to set for the seven-week newbie initiative program, which unfortunately wasn't able to complete.
I set goals and made plans to fulfill them, but I was unable to do so for a variety of reasons, the main one being that I neglected Hive for more than a month due to schooling.
However, it is all in the past, and the new year is giving me a fresh start. There is no better time than now to define the goals I want to achieve since I would be entering the new year with a good knowledge of Hive
Hive Power
I'm currently on 84 hive power but by the end of the year, I would want to have at least 500 HP. That means I have to amass over 400 HP next year.
Comments
Your number of comments also reflect your level of engagement on other people's post and I currently have 364 comments. By the end of next year, my goal is to accumulate a minimum of 1800 comments.
Followers
In every social platform just like Hive one of the aims is to make more friends.
I currently have 70 followers, and I want to have more. My goal is to have a least 250 friends by the end of the year. It seems like a big task, but I believe I'm capable of making it happen.
Reputation
One of the things, that attract people to you on Hive is your reputation.
Reputation shows how far you've gone on Hive. Currently, I'm on 57, and it seems I have been stuck there for a long time. But checking the full details; I realized that my reputation is 57.98, so I am almost close to having a reputation of 58. By the end of next year, I would love to have a reputation of 65.
Hindrance and solution
Since I am presently enrolled in school, Hive would have to run concurrently with my studies.
Although my prior attempts to balance Hive and schoolwork failed miserably. Lack of careful planning and failure to act at the appropriate moment were the causes. I delayed starting my studies until it was around exam time, and as a result, I had accumulated so many things to study that I had to give up Hive and my other social activities to concentrate on my studies.
This time I won't make that mistake since I'll start reading early and plan my day so that I can balance studying and posting on Hive without them interfering with one another.
