You must take the necessary steps to accomplish anything in life.
For instance, there is a procedure involved in building a house. One of the first steps is to purchase land because a building cannot be constructed without it. After the land has been purchased, the architect creates the house's suggested layout.
Builders would spend time and effort and be in the dark about how to construct a house without the architectural blueprint. Additionally, a structure cannot be constructed from the roof up; instead, the foundation must come first.
In the same way, you need a strategy for everything in life to work out. A plan will direct you and make it simpler for you to accomplish your objectives. Just like Tony Robbins said and I quote, "Setting goals is the first step in making the invisible visible."
Every desire or ambition we have today is hidden, therefore the first step to making them come true is to create objectives—and not just any goals, but smart ones.
I have made the decision to write about my hive objectives for the upcoming seven weeks, which is the length of the program, in accordance with the Newbies Initiative's suggestions and instructions.
Hive power
My current hive power is 54.753 HP as of the time I started writing this article, which is a significant improvement from the 17 HP I had at the start of this month. It demonstrates my growth. You can see how far I've come with Hive Power by looking at the graph below.
I want to accumulate at least 100 HP in total at the conclusion of the seven weeks, thus I need to be able to collect at least 45 HP throughout that time.
Why am I setting such a low bar for myself when I was able to get 30+ HP in less than 30 days and am now only aiming for less in around two months? You'll have to keep reading to learn why, though.
Followers
On every platform, counting followers is a fairly effective technique to gauge one's development. Someone who has a large number of followers has either worked hard to become well-known or creates significant content that has earned them the respect of their audience.
I now have 62 followers, and by the conclusion of the next seven weeks, I hope to have at least 90. This means that for me to succeed, I must get at least 4 new followers per week.
And how will that take place? This question raises the issue of engagement.
Engagement
Engagement is a key component in growing a user's account on any platform. It's also a technique to market oneself by interacting with people and demonstrating your concern for them in the same manner that they could feel the same way about you.
To be sincere, my engagement level on Hive is low, and I'd explain why in the topic - hindrance. I now have over 290 comments as of the time of this writing, but by the end of the project, I would like to have made at least a total of 600 comments.
And this would be achievable if I made about 5–6 comments on each post each day I was active on my Hive.
Consistency
Anytime you want to accomplish something, consistency is key. You excel at something when you practice it often. I can recall when I first began to write. At first, it was challenging, but now it's simple. Similarly, I intend to continue being consistent with my Hive blogging by publishing at least three entries every week. It follows that I should have at least 21 posts published after 7 weeks.
HINDRANCES
Schooling
Schooling is the main obstacle to reaching these objectives. Universities all across the nation have been closed for the previous eight months as a result of university lecturers' industrial actions.
Now that the strike has been called off, there has to be a rush of activity in order to restore the academic calendar that the strike damaged. Because of the difficulty of my course, which involves calculations and laboratory work, and the possibility that I might have limited opportunity to write, I initially chose to set modest goals.
Electricity
Electricity is another problem; just a few locations in my nation have reliable power, and my college is one of them. Electricity demand might increase during exam time and lead to blackouts occasionally. This could make it more difficult for me to blog effectively, especially because I would be reading on my phone.
Health issues
The third obstacle is health, which is something I hope to avoid but which is still a possibility. I'm currently dealing with some minor health difficulties, and I just hope they don't grow worse given the impending stress of the exams.
You can pray for me as well; I am a firm believer in prayer.
It's true what they say: talking is cheap. If there are no activities to support the talk or the wish, nothing will happen. That is why I want to arrange my time so I can devote some time to working toward the objectives I set for myself
Planning is great, and it is better to plan than not to, but remember nobody knows tomorrow.
