Going down memory lane, to one Christmas I had outside Lagos state, you know something, I have always been one who doesn't go out, but that Christmas I had no choice but to go, and going there I never regretted cause I enjoyed my stay.
2019 December 20th I, hubby and son, decided to leave our comfort zone, we embarked on a journey to his hometown, we left the house that morning and went to church since it was our carol service /children's Christmas party. That day was exciting cause we had so much fun in church, around noon we hurriedly left the church and went back home to get the bags that we had packed the previous night.
On getting to the bus stop, we boarded a bus going to Oyo state, it wasn't my first time visiting there though, I slept during most of the bus journey cause had woken up very early that morning to prepare for church, went it was about 6 pm that day still in the bus we had gotten close to our destination, my husband called his cousin for the address to the house, though we found it difficult at first to locate the place since it was already dark, luckily we found someone who took us to the place. Everyone was excited to see us, cause it's been a long time since we had seen each other last. we were welcomed with open arms and a lot of hugs and kisses.
The next morning, we woke up to grandma's cooking, but though we did morning devotion before we did other things, it was an amazing first meal there, we took a stroll in the environment, and I got to see many places, especially their market and how food was being sold there, there I discovered that we that stayed in Lagos were buying food items at a very high price.
THINGS I ENJOYED DURING THIS HOLIDAY.
My husband's mother usually makes this snack from soybeans, she made me love this snack, though before we left the house my husband had already told me about this before, so I had been wanting a taste of it ever since I was told about it, so having it at my disposal was a delicious journey.😛😜😋.
Though I learned how to make it, because of the very tedious process it requires before it can be ready, discouraged me from ever trying this recipe out. My sister inlaws took me and my son out, first one took me to a beautician where I had an eyelash extension then next after we came back from there my other sister-in-law took us to an eat-out where we had ice cream, snacks, and some salad, then after eating we went around a very famous mall in that town, though I can't remember the name of the place, they had interesting things to see and buy, we were only window shopping😁, I enjoyed my stay there.

We only spent 5 days there cause we had to attend a church program in the new year, let me not forget to tell you grandma made me a big bag of my favorite snack, which I ate half of it on the bus before I got to Lagos state.😁😁
Mehn, it was an enjoyable Christmas for me because I spent time sightseeing and eating to my fill as the foodie that I am na😆😁😆😁, going home that day was interesting until we got to the outskirts of Lagos state, I started feeling sad cause it was back to suffering from one Lagos traffic to another we got home very late and we're low on cash, thank God we had kept some money at home before leaving, if not we for the hungry tire.
It was an enjoyable Christmas😍😍.
