Hopefully all of you will be fine and doing well with the blessings of God who is very merciful to us.This is week 21,edition 2 and I am here to participate in the contest with interesting topic 'Just 20 Dollars'
This is very fantastic topic to know someone's experience, when he has twenty dollars to enjoyed his weekend.
Basically I live in Pakistan and the currency here is Rupees. Here one dollar is worth more than two hundred rupees. So twenty dollars is a good amount to spend a weekend here.
How I am going to spend my twenty dollars?
As I need twenty dollars to spend on the weekend, I would do something like
this:
First of all I will make a complete plan to spend this money because as a student it is a significant amount of money for me to spend on my weekend.
As I mentioned I am a student so I have to stay in hostel for my studies. There are many financial problems for a student. Generally I am frugal and try to save as much money as possible and spend the saved money on fast food on weekends. But this saved money is not so much that it can be used to eat an expensive meal. Since I have twenty dollars this weekend, I'm going to eat something special this time. This time I'll go for pizza over fast food.So I shall go to eat pizza with my roommate.
After eating pizza, I will buy a movie and some refreshment from the market and go to my room and watch it with my partner.
Well, I don't watch a lot of movies, but I watch them on weekends for fun. I don't have any TV to watch movie in my hostel room so I shall see the movie in my computer.
All of these will cost me about ten dollars. I still have ten dollars left. Of this amount, I will put five dollars in the donation box for cancer patients at my college. I believe that the money spent on such work is only useful for us.
I will put the remaining five dollars into my savings to see me through the tough times and I think that's the smart thing to do.
That way I'll enjoy my weekend with my twenty dollars. Hope you like my post.
