This prompt took me back in time, to the time when I was still a student at ondo state university. This was the time I started going to market and buying things, it's not that I do not go to market while i was at home but I always go with my mom. But when I got admission I started going to market alone, buying things without supervision from anyone.
There is no Nigerian that you will meet today and ask the person about the economy and that person won't have one or two things to complain about.

FEEDING
I remember then when I used to buy Congo of rice for 500 naira, beans for 300 naira, garri for 100 naira.
Then I use 200 naira to buy tomato and pepper to cook stew and buy Titus fish with 250 or 300 naira. Then I could use one thousand naira to cook soup or stew and still have change with me.
But now everything is more costly than before, it is so costly to the point that if you don't have up to one thousand naira and above you can not buy anything.
I was going through Facebook one day and I saw a post where someone asked "how much is a congo or rubber of garri in your area?". Some people dropped comment and said they buy garri at 1500, before I saw that post I thought that things were costly in the side I stay till I saw the post, I was buying garri at 900 naira and some places buy at 1500.
HOUSING
I remember then when I used 24 thousand naira to rent a one room that was okay with water, self contain then was around 50 thousand with light and water. But now you can't even see a one room apartment with water at 35 thousand, if you need a one room with water you need to have 50 thousand and this was what we use to get a self contain then. Now if you don't have upto 100 thousand naira, you can't afford a self contain with water, light is not included.
TRANSPORTATION
I also remember when I use a 20 Naira ticket to go and come back from school per day, and use 50 naira to move around comfortably. But now if you don't have up to 500 naira you can't go out which is bad.
WILL MY EARNING FETCH ME MORE OR LESS I OTHER COUNTRIES?
The Nigerian naira has very little value, so if it comes to salary, I earn below average so I don't think it can fetch me more but rather it will be less in other countries.
IF I HAD THE CHANCE WILL I RELOCATE?
Most Nigerians will tell you that they will relocate if they had the opportunity. I'm among those Nigerians, I would relocate at any chance I get. I think I will warn more over there than here.
