Hello guys! Wishing you all a lovely new week ahead. Today I will be answering the question thrown to us:
Have you ever battled with depression? If not you, someone you're close to. Tell us about it. How are you/they now? How were you/they able to get past the tough stage? What lessons did you get from the experience?
Depression is a big problem that makes people feel really bad. It's not just feeling sad sometimes. It's a mix of things in your body, mind, and life that make you feel awful most of the time. I know this because I saw it happen to my friend, Esther. I call her Helster, my very good friend.

Esther was always happy and fun to be around. But inside, she was really sad. She felt empty and hopeless. I didn't know until she told me how bad she was feeling.
Esther's journey with depression was faced with challenges, from overwhelming sadness and loss of interest in activities she once enjoyed to debilitating fatigue and feelings of worthlessness. Witnessing her gradual decline was heart-wrenching, and I felt powerless to help her at times. Despite my unwavering support and encouragement, Esther struggled to see a way out of the darkness that consumed her.
Esther's life got really hard because of depression. She couldn't enjoy the things she liked anymore. She was always tired and felt worthless. It was hard for me to watch her go through this, and I didn't know how to help.
Esther had to go through a lot to get better. She went to therapy, took medicine, and had people who supported her. It wasn't easy, and sometimes she felt like giving up. But she kept going, and slowly things got better.
Now, Esther is doing much better. She still has tough times, but she knows how to handle them. She takes care of herself and isn't afraid to ask for help when she needs it. Seeing her get better has been amazing.
From Esther's journey, I learned some important things about depression. First, anyone can get depression, no matter who they are. It's important to talk about it and be kind to people who are going through a hard time.
Second, getting help is really important. Whether it's talking to someone or taking medicine, there are things that can make you feel better. You don't have to go through it alone.
I also learned that people are really strong. Even when things seem really bad, there's always a chance to get better. With support and help, you can get through anything.
In the end, depression is a real problem that affects a lot of people. By understanding and supporting each other, we can help those who are struggling and make things better. Let's keep talking about it and helping each other out..
