The importance of medicine and sticking to one's medication can never be overstated, as it has been shown through the years as one of the best decisions anyone can make to reinstate themselves back to a perfect state of health. However, medication isn't all it takes to bring about restoration of good health; in fact, there are other things that can be done that'll bring about that, and I for one can attest to that because I've seen such things manifest firsthand in my life, and I'd love to tell you all about it.
I can vividly remember how earlier this year I was constantly falling sick and was going in and out of the hospital; it was a trying time for me both emotionally and financially because indulging in such requires a lot of bills to be paid, from hospital bills to medication bills and the like, to name but a few. All of these piled up to a point where I felt like I'd had enough, and that led to me having to take a drastic step towards helping myself get out of the mess I was in. Basically, I had to stop the usage of the medication for some time and instead embark on a new lifestyle trend that's focused on becoming a better me health-wise.
I'm certain you'll be wondering what I did and how it turns out. Well, you need not worry for long, because I'll be telling you all about it. Like I said, I opted for a change of lifestyle, and that change of lifestyle has to do with drastically reducing my screen time as well as increasing the hours I spend sleeping and resting. This was something that was difficult for me to do through the years, and I can swear it's one of the things that brought about the constant mental breakdown I've had, as I tend to spend hours on the phone from morning till nightfall, only to resume the same routine once again the next day.
Seeing how that initial lifestyle was taking a toll on my well-being and even making me unable to sleep, as I found myself rolling on the bed for hours after dropping my device. I made up my mind to put a stop to that lifestyle and change for good. Since then, although not instantly, since I began to scrutinize the times I spend online and know what time I must stop and go to bed, I've had a great improvement health-wise. I can even feel the changes in my body and how well it seems compared to when I was indulging in that lifestyle and expecting that the medication would solve the situation.
With the great difference I can feel on my body from the change in habit, I can't help but agree with the opinion that it's not all situations that need medication to be rectified; others only need a change in lifestyle, habit, or what have you. I'm a testament to that, and seeing how well I've become without the pill, I can't help but recognize the importance of adequate sleep and the need to reduce one's screen time. I understand this change in habit and lifestyle might have cost me some opportunities, but then what is the use of opportunity when you're bedridden or six feet under the ground?
