In the world today, people are more interested in texting (pin that on technology) than the normal calling that we all know, and also there is something I've noticed, people tend to become busy when you call them or when they do not want to have a conversation with you, they are like "can't talk send me a text" some of them can actually talk hehe!!.
Texting is another form of communication where information is conveyed through written words like "Messaging" In the olden days when there were no smartphones, messages were conveyed through letter writing, I think texting with our smartphones is the modernized version of sending letters to others who are far away.
I've come across a lot of people who would tell me "Tari I don't like calls" What I do love is "Texting" At first I thought they were exaggerating and trying to be something else they were not but then when I sat down and gave it a deep thought I realized how disturbing calls could be some times "when it's not relevant".
Texting has made me express myself more in certain situations, I'm the kind of person who whenever I get angry at someone, doesn't express myself immediately because I know if I do, the kinds of words that would come out of my mouth "might cause more harm" and even make the issue escalate to something big.
Little story: Recently I had a little misunderstanding with someone from my youth church, we didn't exchange words when we saw each other in church "Maybe we are respecting the almighty" When I got home, I decided to call this person, the moment the person picked the call, I realized the anger in me started boiling like "hot water" and I couldn't control myself before I knew it, I've started raising my voice and at that moment none of us were listening to the next person, we were just talking.
After a while I hung up the call, then immediately I sent a text to express how I felt, a few minutes later the person replied to my text, and before you knew it, we were cool like nothing happened. I text when I'm angry, sometimes it might be very difficult because I won't be able to express myself the exact way I want but then putting those words out there will result in something minor compared to when I would use my voice.

What I hate "loading" I'm ready!! I hate when people don't respond to my text promptly, there is a feeling that comes when you are chatting with someone and very eager to read the person's next message then boom the person sees your text and doesn't reply immediately, you feel like "okay maybe the person is busy" before you know it minutes now turned to hours.
I had a friend who does this all the time, he only replies to my chat when it's convenient for him after a while of giving him some grace "thought he would change" but luckily he didn't so I had to block him, and dissolve the friendship.
I hate it when strangers just chat me up and start calling me pet names like (baby) "When did that one start" This particular thing pisses me off to the moon and back (what a distance).
I feel like everyone should learn the ethics when it comes to texting others, and I strongly believe that will also make the world a better place.
