Hello everyone and welcome to the second of my weekend Daisy posts - Marguerite Daisies for your Saturday
#alwaysaflower created by one of Hives most positive and happy little Queen Bees , stop on by the #alwaysaflower community and find out what all the Buzzz is about.
It's a rainy Saturday here on the North Coast of California today, actually it's been a rainy week. Fortunately we had some breaks where the sun came out for a few hours on Thursday and Friday afternoon and I was able get some images for you.
This is the second Argyranthemum hybrid Daisy I brought home last weekend. This type is named Marguerite.
This Daisy opens up almost purple then fades to hot pink after a couple days then to almost white before wilting. These are a bit more delicate that the yellow ones from yesterday and the blooms don't last quite as long.
This one started getting action right after I brought it home and was attracting Butterflies, Hover flies, and Flies within minutes of being out on the deck. Got flies in many of the images I took of this Daisy.
I got this more for color variety than anything. It's not my favorite color but it will be a nice offset to the darker colors in the garden this year.
It does take a nice grouple photo though =)
The storms that rolled through this week were a little rough on this one as it's a little more delicate than the other two Daisies.
This was one of my favorites with the little blue fly and also the end of today's post. Not very chatty in this one today but I do hope you enjoyed the images =)
Here is a peek at the African Daisies coming up tomorrow.
