I volunteer walk a Dog for a lady who loves to Garden. This time of year her Garden is bursting with colour.
Each year I admire her placement of the flowers and how the colours pop against the grey of the wall.
I do not know enough of the flower names but I shall name some as I go through the post.
Below is a purple rose with such a dainty, sweet smell. The variety is called Blue For You, the buds start off a deep pink but bloom into this lovely pale Purple.
Next up we have her Hostas, unfortunately these are not in bloom yet however they produce white or faint Purple/Pink flowers. They are rather large and each leaf is bigger than my hand easily.
Below is a Foxglove, these self seed and are popping up everywhere around here Garden. They like a shady environment so the walls of the Garden are a perfect habitat for this flower. These are great for pollinating insects aswell.
Here is a big basket of flowers filled with all sorts, I couldn't name them however it is a centre piece as you walk up through the steps and into the Garden itself. As you can see in the below photos it is so vibrant and welcoming.
