I jumped into a fun little DTIYS recently and I wanted to share my take on it the original character which is entitled pink overalls had this tall thin almost mouse-like charm
all soft colors and long shapes that felt really gentle to draw
and I don’t know something about it made me want to go rounder
cozier like a tiny sugar glider wrapped in pastel fabrics
so I leaned into the plush shapes
the big eyes the soft cape that almost feels like a petal
and those bright little details that make it feel huggable
I just following the vibe and seeing where it went
and this one was just sweet to sit with. I am not sure if this is my style as I tend to draw different from my previous let me know what you feel from the two versions
I’m always curious what stories you see in them too
I thought I was making a mouse character from this point or is it a blue bear?
I think it is a bear now that the eyes and face features are done
This part is the most fun for me giving it a nice outfit
Whatever it may look now I am happy with the final look especially the pink cape.
