Hey community, here is my entry for the SketchQuest contest. The theme was to draw something that inspired you, and I had to go with my super snuggly llama plushie. Look at him how could I not draw that face? I think he just radiates chill vibes, and that little patterned blanket and neck ribbon made the drawing more interesting on my notebook.
I tried to keep that relaxed, sleepy look he has going on. This was really fun to draw, trying to translate the soft, woolly comfy feel of the plush into a quick sketch on my notebook. I stuck with colored pencil so you can really see all the scribbly texture, and I even added the little heart pattern onto his blanket. If you've got a favorite plushie, you know how hard it is to capture that feeling, but I think I got close
