Hey everyone, I’m back for the second round of the SketchQuest contest. The prompt is to draw whatever inspires you, and I went for a cozy feeling this time. I found this really cute vintage photo of someone all bundled up in a warm sweater and a knit hat, holding a mug, and I had to draw it. Total Vintage Mittens Moments vibe
I love the idea of warmth and warm drinks on a winter plus happiness, even though it’s just a simple drawing. I used bright red marker so it would really pop and then added some little doodles around the edges like a snowman, stars, and those tiny steaming mugs. I threw in a little green and orange to make it extra colorful.
It was super quick and fun to do. No fancy stuff, just felt pen on paper, trying to capture that warm feeling. If you’ve been thinking about joining SketchQuest, seriously, go for it especially us here on DTIYS community. Just have some fun with it. Hope you guys like this one
