Sometimes it’s not deep it’s just a mouse, sleeping on a big cushion, phone still in paw. You know that feeling when you promise you’ll just scroll for five more minutes… then suddenly you’re out cold, and the phone is still there, waiting for gravity to betray you? That’s this drawing.
I was sketching and thought: what if mice also dealt with the very human struggle of doomscroll then naps? The kind where your phone will eventually slip and smack your face, but in the moment, you’re too far gone REM.
I like how this little guy feels both cozy and tragic at the same time. The oversized shirt, the tiny shorts, the surrender to nap-time all of it very me after lunch. 😂
If you feel like it, try drawing your own version of this scene. Make the mouse fancier, fluffier, cozier, more chaotic whatever your style says. I’d love to see how different people would imagine the sleep-scroller mouse.
No pressure.
Just observation.
TitaAnnie-style.
Hope you like it
