I understand the feeling, I only mildly touch on the responsability for each of the dApps to provide it's own marketing strategy. Because is like relying on PHP Inc. to market your Wordpress brand. Sounds a bit ludacris, not all dApps deserve a piece of the marketing budget. But again, I think that if we want a better more mainstream tech, we need to showcase strong performance dApps and enhance the functionality of the technology.
As for the marketing of Hive, I mean the social media platforms, if you check out their instagram or facebook or ads, they are almost non existent. And the strategy and energy put into them are extremely flat and generic. There is 0 measurements and transparency of the funds and who is in charge of what.
