Always Broke?
Sorry but it raises questions, if you are always the broke person in the group.
If i see people in need i want to help them because i know what it is to be broke and to be honest depending on the amount...
I am probably not going to expect it back, it is nice when it does come back but i never give more than i can afford to lose anyway so it is no big deal.
I don't like to kick people while they are down.
But when i find the same people always seem to never have any money. Where i am always fronting them cash and loans that i never or rarely get returned it start's to wear a bit thin over time.
Especially when it happens so much it is almost expected that i will pick up the bill, lend a tenner here and there, no questions asked. 🤣
I have schizophrenia and PTSD i am going to have a million questions i will also not let it go. 🤣
Yes i can be direct but my first questions have to be
Do you have a drink or drug problem?
Do have a gambling problem?
I think this is fair to ask, it comes from genuine concern.
Do you need help managing your finances?
Again this maybe uncomfortable for some, but i have found that if i write all my incomings and outgoings down and work out plans and a budget, then
i don't spend as much money plus i know exactly what i have and don't have to spend.
Then i am able to manage and even save no matter what the budget.
This week i suggested to 2 different people i find myself in this situation with regularly, that instead of just lending them the money all the time.
I could show them how to earn the same amount online instead for free, however they were not keen to do this.
Excuses, excuses and more excuses.
That is the bottom line for me if someone is not even willing to help themselves just a little bit then why should i care.
You can only help those that want help, i don't think i will be seeing either of these people much in the future.😎
