Break The Chains (BTC) Shirts: My First Shirt Design

Mental Health is an important issue to be recognized. The need for open discussions and support systems is crucial to address the underlying effects of it. However, there is still a significant gap in comes to addressing men's mental health. Men, my fellow brothers, face societal expectations that discourage vulnerability and emotional expressions that lead to a high chance of silent suffering and depression.

It is important to break the chains, foster empathy, and create a culture of supporting men's mental health.

Inspired by my own experiences, driven by the belief in the connection between having a dysfunctional family and mental health issues, I am starting an advocacy for men's mental health.

The Impact of Dysfunctional Families on Mental Health:

I lived a difficult life with a broken family, growing up in a dysfunctional family has been seen as a contributor to mental health issues. The lack of emotional support, instability, conflicts, and toxic setups within the family wounded my youth and left scars that can be seen up to this day. That is why I believe through supporting an advocacy that focuses on broken families we can provide solutions to mental health issues by providing resources, counseling, and support systems. These will help families navigate the challenges they face and stitch a path for a better future for their children. I believe dysfunctional families as the root cause of mental health issues and by addressing this root cause we can create a ripple effect to break the chains and cycle of problems.

The Power of Print Messages and Collective Support:

To reach more people, I would like to use my creative gift to design prints as a tangible way to engage people and spread the message. Print designs like shirts and stickers will serve as a carrier of our advocacy to empower messages promoting mental health awareness and support for families and men. Through the sales of these designs and donations from future supporters we can initiate projects that will contribute to our mission.

HIVE and My Advocacy

I strongly believe in the power of collaborative effort. HIVE has been my way to express my creativity and my way to ease up some stress. The HIVE community has been a great contributor to calming the storm I have inside. Kudos to the We Are Alive Tribe Hive account@flaxz and the whole team for being my steady community in expressing my thoughts on becoming more thoughtful and rational. That is why I will start my advocacy plans here on HIVE.
