Happy #thankfulThursday 🎉 I'm absolutely sure there's something to be thankful for each day. I suppose waking up and being able to move about is a good place to start. 😆 Amazing that last week I was wishing all happy thanksgiving. Now it's the fifth of December.. 26 days to go in 2024. 😮 Another year is almost coming to an end. I suppose that's another thing to be thankful for -- we made it this far. 🎉
I honestly don't know what the new year holds, and at this time, I won't speculate. I will simply pray for the best. 🙏❤️💡 One thing I do know is that Bruno enjoys sleeping on the computer paper box that I left underneath my work printer. 😆 I'm thankful for some predictable details in life.
I unboxed the grocery that arrived yesterday, and this morning I found some of the kitties enjoying their new box. Bon leads the dibs on this and every new box in the flat. 😆 I do wonder why cats find boxes so fascinating. 🤔 I'm glad for their simple pleasure as I need not spend a lot for kitty towers or sleeping mats. I just need to find ways to upcycle delivery boxes to something the kitties could use and enjoy.
I'm going to give this pasta & sauce kit a try. I'm cooking for one (two if you count the kitties too 😅) mostly, so I figure easy to prep meals like this one is acceptable. I seriously want less cooking in my every day life, and I need to balance that with eating healthily too. Have you tried the Mediterranean diet? I'm interested in looking more into it. 🤔
Some folks I know are counting down to Christmas, I'm counting down to the New Year. 😆 It's not like things will automatically be better just 'coz it's a new year, still I can't help but hope for the best. 🙏❤️💡 I pray for transformational change. Hopefully, I will be able to overcome my limitations. No hurry. Changes like this take time, and I do understand it's more of a process than an instant overnight thing. One day at a time... one step at a time... I'll get there! 😉

I'm super thankful that the weekend is coming again. 🙌 It's gardening and cleaning weekend, but I'm determined to get my rest nonetheless. Both tasks are needed for better maintenance of the household. It puts my mind at ease, so I do give it importance. Well, I wish you a fantastic weekend in advance. Nighty night from Manila.
