Happy FriYAY 🎉 happy weekend to most folks 😆 I still have one more work day. Can't wait till it's clock out time again so my very brief day off would start. 😝 This Sunday would be gardening and cleaning day again. I've a few tasks lined up for my plants. Overall I still don't have an idea how to improve my terrace garden. 😅
It didn't rain yesterday, so I was bracing for a warmer day. However, nature decided to surprise me this afternoon with some rain. Whew! 😅 I'm super glad it would be cooler tonight. 🙏❤️💡
Oh wow! I'm surprised at my steps these past two days. 😅 It must be some adrenalin rush on my part. However, I did need to rest a little bit more after my walks. I think it also helps that I allotted more time for my early evening walk.

Amazing that this photo was from ten years ago during our summer getaway to Corregidor Island. It's well known for day trips, but my daughter and I decided we'd book for an overnight stay. Back in the days, there was a regular trip and travel company that takes visitors to the island. However, we've learned that said company has closed this trip from the plandemic and never got to reopen. 😔 Tragic. It was truly a lovely experience. I guess the reason why I shared it here today is a preview to a post I'm thinking of putting up on Blurt for this weekend. 😉 This is one aspect of my life I need to come to terms with -- my ability to do more travels. It's not easy to have mobility issues, and I have yet to travel anywhere far from home. 😒 I honestly don't know if I can regain enough strength to be able to do it again anytime soon.
Eighteen more days to go. This second full week is almost coming to an end. 🙌 one day at a time...
