What dya know? I've been a long time fan of the Sherlock Holmes adventures by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and I just found out that May 22nd is considered Sherlock Holmes day. 😆🤓 I guess there are indeed lots more to learn in life. 😅 I have a complete collection of the books. I also recently found some old movies from the 1939 film series and got to watch them all. 🤓 I must admit I have not seen the more recent adaptations. I actually liked the old series and find them more interesting. 😂
I'm back from taking a break yesterday. You see, I did take time out to go to the DALI Grocery near me after work hours. I feel good being able to do mini purchases on my own despite my mobility issue. That's one reason why I do my walking exercise daily. I've been slowly increasing my steps throughout the day too. I hope this helps me more each day. 🙏❤️💡 I finished earlier yesterday and decided I'd sleep on my recliner sofa for a few hours while the cooling system is on. I then moved to the bedroom to complete my sleep. 😝 Feels so good to sleep in the cooler area since the bedroom remains warmer despite the multiple fans and mini exhaust fan leading to the bedroom. 😒 It's no fun waking up sweaty. 😖

I do believe in freedom and independence, and I value the courage of those who fought for the freedom of my country. However, I do question whether we truly are free. I guess the freedom I'd love to see is that each citizen is able to live the best life possible for all. There's a huge disparity in income and opportunities that I see, and I don't have an immediate solution to that. 🤔 Guess that's also one reason I'm simply grateful for my blessings. I don't have everything I wish to have, but I can't complain with what I have on hand. 🙏❤️💡
Nine days and counting. Oh boy, the month is almost coming to an end, and I'm still praying for cooler weather. 🌧❄️ Then I see the news that some places in the southern part of the country were placed in a state of calamity due to floods. 😒 what a moo indeed! Wish there's a way to evenly distribute the rain all over the country. 🙄
