This afternoon I took out "Brutus" and rode around the neighborhood.
And I also took a few photos I would like to share this evening with you!
So I first rode to the Park and caught this Seagull hovering overhead,
And this is a look over towards Padre Island. You can see the Dredging going on and how choppy the water is - due to the wind,
These are Kingfishers, and having a little difficulty in the wind,
This is a look South down the Shoreline, and again look at the water!
This is another at look towards Padre Island,
And the Sun going down in the West over the Breeding Pond,
At that point I decided to move around and get in some miles, so...
I left the Park, and on my out I saw these Firewheels growing,
(they were too vibrant to pass up!)
I headed past the old church that is now "something else" and I thought - "WOW" they planted flowers,
And I got closer and saw they were fake...
I continued down a few streets and saw that the field next to the "Gateway Christian Center" was covered in some flowers,
I thought they were Sunflowers at first - but they are these,
Golden Tickseed, or Calliopsis, something else entirely - though by late summer this will all be Sunflowers.
Later on in the early evening I caught the Moon in the Northeast,
And the Sun going down in the Southwest,
And that was the end of the day and my #aliveandthriving Tuesday!
