Today is Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) and whilst I am on vacation, I decided to power up 1K Hive.
The bear market seems to be biting hard this time and we may see some lower lows. I think there hasn't been a cycle with such a huge change in interest rates which will reduce the amount of available fiat for people to buy crypto with.
The ECB has only raised rates to 4% and it seems to be causing carnage in the economy used to cheap lending, I guess rates will keep going up from here too.
Whether that affects Bitcoin and parallel then also ALTs like Hive is hard to say, but we will for sure find out. In the meantime, I keep stacking Hive as it has lots of potential and far more than holding fiat that can be debased at will. Hive at the current price seems a no brainer and it is good to pick it up so cheaply.
With the recent talk of lowering HBD rates, it seems the witnesses want to focus more on Hive and Hive Power which is a good thing and therefore, owning Hive and powering up can only make sense in the long run.
I was reading today some improvements to the sending and receiving payments with a QR code with your Hive Keychain wallet. This is a great development and we need for sure more ways to generate invoices and quickly send and receive payments with our mobile on Hive.
When earning Hive at these low levels, it is really worth much more if you hold onto it for when the price rises. Those who stick through this bear market should come out very well I imagine.
With my 1k Hive power up, it takes me to 94787k HP and approaching the 95k HP mark. I expect to cross the 95k HP mark in a week or so as it is 113 HP and then I will have just 5k HP to go to reach 100k HP.
As I am on vacation, I have not posted so frequently this week and finally brought my daily posting routine that lasted 1 year and 8 months to an end. Some days I had posted more than once but realized that was too much and made no sense.
It has felt the right time to take a few days off and recharge the batteries and have some clear thoughts about my posting routine going forward. I generally don't have any problems thinking of what to write or post about and have many ideas plus we have the myriad of great communities available on Hive.
With my laptop broken, it also has shaken me out of my rhythm a little. Sitting at a desktop takes some getting used to.
Taking some relaxing time, has really helped and for sure is needed now and again. Will I last 1 year and 8 months before I skip a posting day again? Maybe, perhaps I may reduce my posting frequency further if I have some other projects to do or more IRL things to take care of.
What posting frequency do you do?
That's all from me.
Thanks for reading.
