It's Tuesday, after spending about 12 hours without electricity from yesterday to today, the service returned, and we were able to do things at home, such as cooking and taking care of various pending tasks. I wish these problematic things, service failures, were not such a common and daily thing in my current Venezuela. Anyway, it's what I have, and I suppose that in the long run one resigns himself to the #life he has. It's like the phrase motivation that I saw in a meme says: 'You have to play with the cards that life deals you', but they never warn you that it may give you cards that are not even from the same game, and also, it may remove the cards from your hand if you realize that you have been dealt a good card.
Well, that sounds a bit depressing, so let's change the subject a bit, let's talk about the weather. Since yesterday there is cold weather again, it was getting cold as if we are back to the end of the year months, but that is not normal for this time of the year, rather, it should be hot. But, last night there was a heavy fog, and today it was seriously cold. So between that, and the state of mind my brother and I were in, we didn't give the house dog a bath, I know that heating the water could have been done, but our kitchen is electric, and without electricity nothing can be heated.

Es martes, luego de pasar desde ayer a hoy unas 12 horas sin electricidad, regresó el servicio y pudimos hacer cosas en la casa, tales como cocinar y atender varias tareas pendientes. Me gustaría que estas cosas problemáticas, las fallas de servicios, no fueran una cosa tan común y cotidiana en mi #Venezuela actual. En fin, es lo que tengo y supongo que a la larga uno se resigna a la #vida que tiene. Así que entre eso, y el estado de ánimo en que estábamos mi hermano y yo, no le dimos el baño a la perrita de la casa, sé que con calentar el agua se podría haber hecho, pero nuestra cocina es eléctrica, y sin electricidad no se puede calentar nada.

I made the choice partly because of the memories that my father was fascinated with the idea of being able to communicate by short band radio with other people in the world, breaking barriers and coming into contact with other latitudes, in addition to the fact that my sister was interested it is also this, and she was more systematic and constant in her use of short band radio, so she was the first in the family to have some official certificate as a radio diexist… well, I know that being a radio amateur and being a Diexist is not the same thing, but they are related and that's why I remember it.

Ya que es de noche y cuento con electricidad, es mejor que me apresure un poco y trate de completar esta publicación, antes de que alguna circunstancia me saque de línea, por eso, dejemos de lado estos temas de la vida personal y comentemos ya de una vez la efemérides de la #Historia que quería comentar hoy. Se trata de que hoy es el Día Mundial del Radioaficionado. Una fecha que se deriva de la Unión Internacional de Radioaficionados se formó un día como hoy, en París, en el año 1925.
La elección la realicé en parte por los recuerdos de que mi padre estaba fascinado con la idea de poder comunicarse por banda corta de radio con otras personas en el mundo, rompiendo barreras y entrando en contacto con otras latitudes, además de que mi hermana se interesó también es esto y ella fue más sistemática y constante en su uso de la radio de banda corta, así que ella fue la primera de la familia en tener algún certificado oficial como radiodiexista… bien, sé que ser radioaficionado y ser Diexista no es lo mismo, pero sí que se relacionan y por eso lo recuerdo.
Por cierto, ese término de Diexismo es algo que no es frecuente de leer por estos lados, así que me permito compartir su definición como:
