Hi Hive,
One thing I have come to realize in life is that peace starts the moment you stop trying to impress people. For a long time, many of us live our lives seeking validation from others. We want people to notice our progress, praise our achievements, and clap for every step we take. But the truth is, not every journey is actually meant to be performed before an audience.
There is no accolades for rushing your life just because someone else seems ahead. Everyone has their own path, different struggles, and different timing. Comparing my journey to others only made me feel pressured and incomplete. That I started questioning myself whenever I saw people achieving things faster than me. But I understood that growth is personal with time, and success means different things to different people.
Right now, rather than competing with others I am learning to focus more on becoming a better version of myself. Not every move needs approval. Not every dream needs applause. And sometimes the greatest victories happen silently behind closed doors where nobody sees the hard work, sacrifices, tears, and determination.
Life becomes even lighter when you stop living to please other people. You start to appreciate your own progress, no matter how little it may seem. Moving at your own pace does not mean you are failing or falling behind but it means you understand that your journey is unique.
These days, I remind myself that there is no audience to impress and no competition to win. The only person I should strive to make proud is myself and me only. As long as I keep growing, learning, and staying true to who I am, that is enough.
At the end of the day, your journey is yours alone. So walk it with confidence, patience, and peace.
