Hi Hive,
There will always be another love. Another job. Another city. New people waiting somewhere you have never been before. Because life has a way of replacing what we think we have lost forever. But there is one thing it will never replace and which is your life. And that’s why starting over, no matter how scary it feels, is always really worth it.
I have had moments where I felt stuck, like I already had invested too much time, too much energy, too many emotions to walk away. Whether it was a job that drained me or a path that no longer felt like mine, the fear of starting all over again felt heavier than the discomfort of staying. But deep down, I knew something was not right. And verlooking that feeling only made things worse.
Starting over is no something easy to do. Because it comes with uncertainty, doubt, and sometimes loneliness. You start to question your decisions. You wonder if you are making a mistake. But I have realized something powerful that staying in the wrong place out of fear costs you more than the risk of leaving ever will.
Every time I have chosen to start again and I have discovered a new version of myself. Stronger, wiser and more aligned with what I truly want. It’s never a straight road, but it’s always a meaningful one. And the truth is, life doesn’t reward comfort but it rewards courage.
We sometimes act like we have endless time, like we can postpone our happiness or delay that bold move for another time. But the truth is life doesn’t wait for no one. Every day you spend stuck in something that no longer serves you is a day you can't get back. And that is the real risk of not starting over, but staying the same.
There will always be new opportunities, new connections and new beginnings. The world is bigger than your current situation. But you only have one life to live, to experience it all. And one chance to chase what truly matters to you.
So if you’re standing at a crossroads right now, not sure whether to let go or hold on, choose yourself. Choose growth. Choose the unknown if it means you get to live more fully. Because at the end of the day, starting over is not losing but it’s a way of giving yourself another chance to get it right.
And that’s something worth everything.
