I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
In my post yesterday I talked about my confusion and frustration regarding trasferring assets between Blurt and Hive using and
, and the seemingly very inconsistent, undependable, and unreliable results. I'm happy to say that I finally got some much needed clarity from one of the Hive-Engine devs on the situation. What was explained to me finally made sense in terms of my own experiments and experiences.
The account on Blurt, and the
accounts on Hive and Steem, are owned and controlled by the Hive-Engine team, however, the
account on Hive, and the
account on Blurt are not (EDIT:
on Hive is owned and controlled by
, which he created because people kept sending assets to it, but it didn't exist yet, to refund any tokens sent to it). With this new clarity, I'm happy to report that I just successfully transferred 500 BLURT to Hive using
on Blurt, which then sent me the funds as SWAP.BLURT from
.
Given the above information, this post also acts as a community warming, so that anyone reading it knows not to use the account on Hive, or the
account on Blurt, to transfer assets between blockchains, because they do appear to be scam accounts. Yes, I sure do wish that I had learned this important information before sending funds, but I've at least learned from my mistake, and I am able to share it here with you now.
The 500.5 BLURT that I transferred to Hive was received as 496.74625 SWAP.BLURT, after the transfer fee. I already had just over 500 SWAP.BLURT in my wallet, which I'd been slowly adding to the SWAP.HIVE:SWAP.BLURT pool, so I swapped 500 SWAP.BLURT for 4.3 SWAP.HIVE, and then used that to add the rest of my SWAP.BLURT to the pool, more than doubling my stake in it, which is pretty great.
I still have about 300 SWAP.BLURT to add to the pool, along with the corresponding amount of SWAP.HIVE, to get my stake past the payout threshold of 1,000 SWAP.BLURT, to be eligible for daily payouts of BLURT on Blurt. That means that I'll need about 600 SWAP.BLURT in total, because half would be swapped to SWAP.HIVE, so that I can add the unswapped portion of SWAP.BLURT to the pool. That shouldn't take me very long, and once I have my stake in the SWAP.HIVE:SWAP.BLURT pool past 1,000 SWAP.BLURT, I'll begin adding liquidity to the other SWAP.BLURT pools, since they all pay out very good pool fees, and they're all eligible for the daily payouts of BLURT on Blurt, once I get my stake in each one past 1,000 BLURT. I'm very grateful to have finally received clarity around trasferring assets between these blockchains, and that I can now do so quickly, easily, dependably, reliably, and consistently. Yahooey!
Yesterday, Saturday, I left the Flow House, after I finished up my Hive tasks, a little after 2:30PM, putting my attention first on some photography for these posts, and straining and blending kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao). When I had those done, I got my machete and collected a wheelbarrow full of assorted edible foliage for cow-milking food, and once I had completed that, I helped Ano unload his truck after his Friday cocoing trip (free-climbing coconut trees to collect coconuts, with a ground crew to lower the racks), and to reload it for the Sunday market the next day. When we had that finished, I decided to do something that I never do, rent Ano's car, and put on clothes, to go to town for some supplies. That took me a little longer than expected, with me arriving back at GaiaYoga just before sunset. Once I got back, I dropped some things off at Tutu's, then I made my way back to the other side of the property, to collect my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, and to head back to the Flow House to dive into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. Even though I was two days behind when I started, I was very thankfully able to get through them all by around 11:30PM, and after some asset management, I went to bed at 11:45PM. I woke up around 6:30PM, having slept pretty well, doing more asset management, starting on this post, getting out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee (the elixir of life...lol) in the Landing, and then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 12:30PM, so a fantastic time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a bit later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for these posts, and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until my Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update tomorrow morning, and the next version of this post tomorrow afternoon! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
