I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
I've talked many times in these posts about how investing in layer-2 assets on Hive, which are all run by individuals or small groups, is inherently more risky than layer-1 investments in Hive Power or HBD, as well as being quite a juggling act indeed keeping up with the multitudinous and frequent changes that occur in layer 2 and its motley crew of projects. Layer 1 is consistent, stable, dependable, and reliable, while layer 2 is an ever-shifting chess board, requiring frequent adjustments, changes, modifications, and tweaks to keep assets flowing as they should. The most stable and dependable investment domain in layer 2 are the diesel/liquidity pools, in which I've been diving ever deeper.
Some of you may have already heard that the LOLZ Project will be shutting down their HIVE and layer-2 farming by the end of September, a notable blow to daily income, which I just heard about last night via these official posts LOLZ Farming Is Shutting Down - End of September and 🤣 LOLZ Project Update - Lots of Upcoming Changes and Improvements. In these posts it's recommended to undelegate all tokens as soon as possible, which is advice that I unfortunately took. It'd unfortunate because the daily payouts in LOLZ are still ongoing, so I kind of shot myself in the foot.
There will be benefits for LOLZ and FUN holders and stakers, both now and in the near future, and if and when it is decided to bring the LOLZ Project to an end in 2028, then 50% of all layer-2 token assets, and HBD from savings, will be split among the top 125 holders of both LOLZ and FUN, whether those assets are liquid, staked, or in diesel/pools. There are other benefits, like layer-2 dividends continuing to be paid out to stakers, the new tipping tiers, and #LOLZ and #FUN curation, but that is one of the big incentives to acquiring more LOLZ and FUN.
Since I prematurely undelegated both HP and all layer-2 tokens, my daily LOLZ income was cut off (doh!), so considering the coming usefulness of LOLZ, this morning I made the decision to begin swapping some of my liquid MEME to LOLZ, and also to buy more LOLZ off the market, while the price is still so low. This is not an ideal situation, but I had to adapt, improvise, and overcome my prepature undelegation.
Since buying LOLZ off the market requires SWAP.HIVE, which I mostly use to add liquidity to an array of diesel/liquidity pools, this is going to be a very careful balancing and juggling act to keep everything flowing. From my four HP leases I receive a total of 0.87814284 SWAP.HIVE daily, which along with SWAP.HIVE from other sources like diesel/liquidity pools and BBH drips, has all been going into the pools, so I'm going to have to get very creative in keeping my layer-2 investment balls in the air. This major change also directly affects the We Are Alive Tribe, as our daily income in liquid LOLZ is about to come to and end, so we'll need to make a change to the daily dividends paid to ALIVE holders and stakers, and I still have to decide what to do with all the layer-2 tokens delegated to the LOLZ curation accounts, both for my own account, and for the Alive Tribe, since some tokens, like CTP and PGM now no longer have any known use. Many of the tokens will go into diesel/liquidity pools, as that will likely be the best way to leverage them. Adapting to, improvising around, and overcoming layer-2 investment challenges is a formidable challenge indeed, but I've learned a lot over my last 4 years on Hive, and I know that I'm up to the task.
Yesterday, Tuesday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, just after 1:30PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts. Once I had that done to my satisfaction, I walked around the property with Avi to harvest bananas, after which I took a short asset-management break up at the Flow House, before getting my machete to do more clearing along the second driveway. After clearing another sizeable area, I took a shower, stopped by the Landing to collect my jar of superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and made my way back to the Flow House, to begin my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything done by just after 10PM, and after some asset management, I went to bed by just before 11PM. I woke up quite early, just before 6AM, having thankfully slept well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 12:30PM, so it's a very good time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before preparing for a session that's scheduled for 1:30PM. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's version of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.

Bradley's tenaciously committed and all-in on Hive for the long haul (just like me!), and the higher his witness goes in the ranking, the higher the weekly BBH and BBHO dividend payouts will be! Vote Here!
