I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in a 16-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Well, it's been four days since I received my new laptop, and I'm still battling the UEFI firmware to get my Arch Linux hard drives to boot without manual intervention. The implementation is different from that with which I've worked before, so nothing that has worked previously is working now. This is extremely frustrating to say the least! I know I can use systemd-boot as my bootloader instead of GRUB2, but I've used GRUB2 for years, and it allows me to create a very pretty boot menu. After four days of UEFI hell, I think I'm about ready to bid adieu to GRUB2 and set up the far simpler systemd-boot with its not-so-pretty text boot menu.
My whole usual schedule is thrown off with my intense focus and determination to get my three Arch Linux hard drives usable in this new computer. I'm still mostly keeping up on my Hive tasks, though it's a bit more challenging for sure. After my fourth day of Battle of the Bootloader, I think it's time to go with the simpler, though less-preferred solution. After duel intense focus on my bootloader dilemma and my Hive tasks for most of the day, I finally left the Flow House just after 3PM again, to go get some physical work done on the land.
I ended up working with Ano and Bryan (who just returned from his farm in North Dakota) fixing the four new pig holes in the chicken-pen fence that I found yesterday. After finishing with the fence repairs, we did more clearing work in the chicken pen until just about sunset.
When we finished clearing, I took a shower, poured out and blended (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao) more kefir, made food, and returned to the Flow House to catch up here on Hive, do a few more Hive tasks, write this post, and then do one more round of combat with my bootloader. Oh, I also published my Index4Index Daily Inspired Motivation: You Want to Succeed? Then Never, Ever Give Up! post in the evening because was not working for a while.
One thing that has been buzzing around inside me is the growing desire to make the Flow House more mine, since Sundog is not coming back. This entails not only making it more beautiful, but also more functional. I want go bring up some sort of desk, and maybe a small table or two, for my computer and tech stuff, and to have a space to sit and work. Soon I'll be doing my Hive tasks from my computer as well! I can't wait! So far everything I've done on Hive has been from my phone.
OK my dear Hive friends, I'm going to wrap up this post and take my leave, so that I can give one more round to working on the bootloader dilemma before bed. I deeply appreciate you all!

Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚
