I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in a 16-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
While it's not really late, I'm extremely sleepy, and for the last two hours I've barely been able to keep my eyes open. Because of this, today is one of those very rare days when I will only be publishing one post on Hive.
My morning to late afternoon was devoted to my Hive work, catch-up and daily tasks, as is my usual schedule. Ano called me to ask if I could work with Marty, who was coming out today to help troubleshoot internet issues. Marty is the fellow who set up our community's particular and pecular means of connecting to the internet, a specialized router connected to tall antennas that works with mobile broadband networks. While the internet connection is generally functional, it is rarely fast. The metal pole on which the antennas are mounted was pretty heavily bent during one of the very intense wind storms that we had here recently.
I wasn't able to finish my Hive catch-up before Marty arrived, so it had to be put on hold until much later. Marty came with a friend and housemate, Jennifer, whom I had not met before. During the whole time that Marty and I were working on the antenna pole, I shared some truly wonderful and inspiring conversation with Jennifer on the slave system and sovereignty.
Marty and I had to very carefully lower the antennas in a way that they would not be damaged and we would not be injured. It didn't help that there was a strong wind the whole time that we were working, so we had to take extra care. After a lot of careful improvisation, we were finally able to get the metal pole with the antennas down, and disconnect the top of the pole with the antennas from the lower, much longer portion of the pole.
Originally when we set up this particular method of connecting to the internet, the router was connecting to Verizon, and the long pole was necessary to connect to that network well. Since the time when we set the system up the network was changed from Verizon to AT&T, and given that AT&T is a much stronger and more stable network out here, the long metal pole is no longer needed. Because of that, when we reattached the antennas, we did so without the much longer lower section, which made our job far easier than it could have been.
The internet connection is reasonably good now, though it varies from where in the network that one is connecting. From where I am up at the Flow House, I don't really notice any improvements. We still need to make some adjustments to the antennas, but that will be for another day.
After finishing our work for the day, Marty, Jennifer, and I shared some great conversation and laugher (the first time I've laughed in weeks), while Marty and I tested the network in the Landing. Soon it was beginning to get dark, and they had to leave, and I needed to make food, as I hadn't eaten anything since my superfood fire coffee much earlier.
With food made, I returned to the Flow House to finish my Hive catch-up. I was sleepy almost from the start, so writing two posts this evening just isn't feasible. If all goes a well, I'll write one tomorrow morning.
While this wasn't perhaps the most interesting or varied post, that was my off-grid jungle day. I need to go to sleep now. I deeply appreciate you all! Until tomorrow! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚
