I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in a 16-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. What are the special characteristics of Hive that compel people such as me to such levels of long-term and consistent commitment, dedication, devotion, determination, and tenacity? I could mention many reasons actually, but are they really why I and many like me show up here every day? Hive seems to have a unique quality that just doesn't exist elsewhere, and I've explored many, many other social platforms and even social blockchains.
It's as if when I first came here so much of my being was activated and engaged that I was like "this is it!", and that feeling has not waned one iota, rather it keeps getting stronger!
I'm my post last night I said that Hive is like a global digital nation, and the more I think about it, the more accurate it seems. Our Hive Blockchain Nation is made up of people from everywhere in the world, all coming together to co-create something incredibly beautiful and powerful, that has the real potential of shifting the balance of power back to the people, everywhere. That's bloody exciting if you ask me!
Every one of us, from our cozy corner of the planet, takes part in our Blockchain Nation. By contributing to its economy, voting/governing, growing our businesses/accounts, participating in its local and national events/celebrations, cooperating and collaborating with our fellow Blockchain nationals in mutually beneficial ways, along with so much more, we are growing and strengthening our Blockchain home. And it truly is a home!
Here on Hive there is no choice of helping ourselves or helping Hive, as success here is inherently mutual. You can't have one or the other! That's the elegant and exquisite Hive principle in action.
I'm up way too late writing this (it's almost 2AM), so I think it's time for me to end this post for now and finally go to sleep! I know I didn't mention anything about what I did today out here in the jungle, but I've just been feeling very philosophical, and I've wanted to talk about these topics for the past two days, so I'm going with that particular flow!
