I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in a 16-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. For me, openness, honesty, transparency, and authenticity are of supurlative importance, in well, everything! It's a big part of why I choose (and need) to live naked on earth. I want the real. No masks, no façades, no fake nonsense. This carries through in everything I do and everything I choose.
It's no wonder that I chose the Hive Blockchain Ecosystem as my digital home, as it's a completely bare naked blockchain (that gives BNB a whole new meaning...😂)! By it's very design, everything is done entirely in the open on Hive. There's no hiding anything, as everything that we do on the Blockchain is easily visible, clear as day, to everyone.
It's very easy to see when people are not being honest, or if they are trying to take advantage others. Likewise, it's also very apparent when someone is being kind, generous, and helpful. This is a beautiful thing to me! This is the basis of our beloved Blockchain!
Every transaction is also clearly viewable by anyone, whether they are on the Blockchain or not. This is the one area where it could potentially go awry, as our Hive finances can be very easily tracked and seen here. Generally the only thing about this that is problematic is when governments or their agencies begin to snoop around. In reality, though, none of them have any right whatsoever to tell you, me, or anyone what we can or can't do with our assets, or to try to extort money from us under the moniker of 'taxes'. That does not necessarily mean that we should not be careful, as people's actual rights are ignored and trampled all the time, and it's considered perfectly legal. Mass non-compliance is the way around that little issue.
Even the code on which Hive is based is open source, which means that anyone can review it to verify what it actually does. It also means anyone with the proper understanding, knowledge, and skill can modify that code in any way that they like, allowing for a swarm of distributed developers worldwide to collaborate, stearing the direction of our Hive ship.
Yep, I love our naked Blockchain, where nothing can be hidden! It fits my proclivity well!
It was another rather cloudy and rainy Monday here in the jungle. I was able to get most of my Hive catch-up and tasks done before I left the Flow House today, even with the Leadership Council Meeting, which was nice. Shakira wanted to work in the nursery with me again, and to go on a medicinal-plant walk with me to collect plants for two medicinal tea blends that she wanted to make.
While we didn't get to the nursery work, we did go on a two-hour walk around the property, where I introduced and described various plants to her. 10-year-old (Io)lanthe wanted to come along with us on our walk, so she was there for most of it, too.
Once our plant walk was done, I made food for myself (and Io, who asked me to make some for her, too) in the Landing before the Logistics Meeting started at 6:30PM. We actually ended up starting at 7PM instead. When the meeting was done about 8:30PM, I returned to the Flow House to give Hive anothter round of catch-up and and tasks, and then to begin writing this post.
It's now almost 12:30PM, so I'm going to end this post for now and go to glorious sleep! I deeply appreciate you all! Until tomorrow! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
