I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in a 16-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Why am I here on Hive every single day, for many hours? Why do I love and believe in this Blockchain so much? How do I keep my passion, excitement, drive, determination, and dedication for Hive going strong over the long-term? Because Hive is The People's Blockchain!
What do I mean when I say that? Well, Hive is:
Open Source - code can be reviewed and anyone may contribute
Decentralized - our whole Blockchain network is spread out across many nodes worldwide, without a cental point of failure
Financially Equalizing - regardless of where people are in the world, or what their local economic circumstances are like, Hive puts everyone on the same financial ground - transactions are fast and free
Censorship Resistant - since there is no centralized authority running Hive, there is also no one individual or entity deciding what is acceptable or not - once something is published on the Blockchain, it is immutable
Hive is also the only Blockchain in the world that is community:
- created
- developed
- run
- governed
- owned
Do you see why I call this Blockchain exceptional? There's no other blockchain which even comes close to what Hive is, does, or offers. Period.
Hive generates so much value within the Ecosystem that many like myself have no interest or desire to convert it into fiat currencies (at least not for a long time, when it's possible to live off the dust alone), though that can be done when needed too, very thankfully.
Towns such as Sucre, Venezuela may indeed be a harbinger of what is to come, and how this all might unfold. 60+ businesses there now accept HIVE/HBD as payment. If things go in this direction, converting HIVE/HBD to local fiat currencies may become a mute point. I can hope! What is happening in Sucre was community initiated by Hivers. We can do this anywhere!
On Hive we (you and me) have complete responsibility for the Blockchain. It's ours. If we want something to happen, or something to exist on the Blockchain, it's up to us to initiate it and get the snowball rolling! Hive teaches a new level of responsibly to which many are not yet accustomed. Hive is our ship, so we all gotta learn how to sail!
Today in the jungle was a mix of sun and clouds, with very light scattered rain. We had a community NVC meeting from 9AM to just about 11AM. Because of that I was a bit behind on my Hive catch-up, and I wasn't able to finish before I had to leave the Flow House to go get some land word done.
Ano had called me to ask if I could pot up a bunch of bamboo cuttings of Dendrocalamus yunannicus that he had taken, so that was my first task. I trimmed them more down to size and I drilled the bottom node wall (so water does not collect when the culm is in the pot), then I took them to the nursery in a wheelbarrow. I potted them up, mulched them, gave them a good watering, and then found a place for them in Ano's nursery.
Once I finished with the bamboo, I planted some Surinam and Brazilian cherry seeds that I had been collecting in the Landing (there are trees near there), then I weeded the fenced garden a bit. While I was weeding, I accidentally broke off a large branch of one of my Kapoor tulsi, so I cut it carefully into three stem sections and planted them in pots (potted, mulched, watered, and placed).
With the plant-and-garden work done, I made myself some food in the Landing, as I strained out another round of kefir, that I used in my kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao blend. I returned to the Flow House, with food in hand, to dive head-first into my Hive catch-up and tasks once again, and then finally to begin writing this post.
It's now just past 11PM, so it's good time to end this post and to get my tush into bed! I deeply appreciate you all! Until tomorrow! Onward and upward, joyfully together! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚
