I'm the same way on crypto currency. I have a very good knowledge of its importance - why it's going to change everything; I have a good understanding of the why and the most basic principles. But when it gets down to the real technical stuff, I don't really have any knowledge of that. But my mind tends to focus more on ideas and such on less on technical things.
