The beginning of the protest was on the issue of the unfair quota in the job sector through which the government was recruiting its own people who are the blind supporters of the ruling party; that makes the whole ruling system a place of culprits in every sector with immense corruption and extreme disasters in all kind of the services that should be provided to the common people.
Within one week the protest became a nationwide movement with the killing of several hundreds of students in a barbaric way by eliminating the internet and mobile services throughout the nation. Bangladesh was completely disconnected from the rest of the world for more than a week as a fractional bandwidth was recently opened for international communication to save the country's economy.
Now the protest has been uplifted to turn back fascism into democracy as the govt. has crossed all the limits against its students and common people during these days. Except for the govt. employees and direct beneficiaries from the ruling party, all the people around the country have gone against the current regime, and for the first time in the last 16 years of the current regime, mass people surpass all the fear spread by all the organs of fascism. And so, still, the government has shut down all the universities, and still, the Carfew and the deployment of the Bangladesh Army exist with their shoot-on-sight orders, but the students and the common people are still on the street!
The government has been marked as fascist and dictator worldwide after such genocide by the government agencies altogether including the Police, RAB, BGB, and finally, the Bangladesh Army! After defeating in the ground against the unarmed mass people and students, they used lethal weapons and many sub-machine guns from the Helicopters which is really pathetic as killing their own people who were completely unarmed and protesting for their rights.
Bangladesh has had many student movements from the very beginning of its history in the years 1952 for our language, 1969 for independence, 1990 for democracy, and now in 2024 which is the largest one with the highest number of killings by the govt. And it is not over yet but the beginning of the ending of the dictator of Bangladesh.
