It is #Wednesaywalk day and as we all know it was brought to Hive by the super nice . I have just returned from a busy fun walk in nature and am now delighted to share the photos with you all in this post.
As always, at the start of a walk I never know what will eventuate, whether I will be a fast paced stepping it out exercise and no photos, or a walk that I constantly must stop to take lots of pics at the wondrous nature sightings I see along the way. I actually find the excitement of the unknown highly motivating where every walking day are all different.
Today my afternoon walk was an exceptionally entertaining one because it did not matter whether I looked down or up photo opportunities were everywhere.
Seeing reflections of palm trees in the puddles was my first photo stop, how intriguing that a little bit of water from recent rain was still sitting in a scoop concrete drain.
Rounding a corner the bright gold setting sun positioned below dark rain clouds peeping in between the shop buildings caught my attention. The reddish gold glow in the clouds added the special little artistic touch to nature's palette. Taking a photo in between buildings of this sunset was bit of a challenge. I think I did it well enough.
Further down the road I saw the sunset again, this time poking in between a couple of other shop businesses. Such an urban look compared to the magnificent sunsets in the country, ocean and mountains.
The scene was extra busy, there was a wooden light pole, a speed sign, a stripy street barrier, a road and signs on the shops and wondered whether this was a good enough nature photo given the location. But then I thought the urban touch added to the atmosphere of the golden glowing light of the sunset in the background.
As soon as I had finished taking a photo a crow land on the grass near me and my iPhone, but quickly flew up to a tree when I moved closer. The little glow of the golden light from the sunset shone through. Another busy urban photo that I could not resist.
My last shot was the black and white one of the black crow in the tree that was accentuated by the cloud and golden glow of the sunset in the background.
And then as quickly as it started, my exceptionally entertaining walk came to an end. Off home I went feeling totally satisfied and contented with my amazing nature walk and photo opportunities.
Bidding you all a good night from one happy Wednesday walker.

Always so reluctant to throw out flowers that have sat in a vase on the entry stand looking beautiful, spreading happiness as only sunflowers do. They have been beautifying my home for a couple of weeks. But, sadly, it is time to bid farewell and put them in the soil in one of the flower gardens. Thank you bright happy sunflowers.
