I haven't talked about my Wednesday walks for a long time. Yes, I walk regularly, but there's always something stopping me from talking about them on Wednesday. It's mostly my job.
But today I said to myself, I have to tell you about my walk today.
So, after sitting in the office, I had 2 tasks planned today: a walk and a visit to the tire repair shop.
Basically, to complete the first task, I just need to complete the second task. According to my calculations, I need to walk to the store for about 30 minutes and the same amount back. It turns out to be an hour-long walk, which is about 8000 steps. So I'll lengthen my route and get 10k steps. Perfect!
These are the beautiful trees that now greet me near the office. Every spring, the utilities prune the trees to such a state. Over the summer, they should grow and resemble palm trees. That's what the masters of landscaping our streets say.
This is about how such trees look after a year or 2 years.
But there is some incident. At the end of last year, the President of the country signed a decree adding these trees, which we call Chinese maple, to the list of dangerous plants and fining the owner of the land plot for planting them. But in our cities, this tree is practically the main green space.
The rooks built nests in tall trees located on the territory of the regional hospital. On the sidewalks where people walk along the main street, there are now many branches that fell from these trees during the construction of nests. The rooks chose an interesting place. And crows have also chosen all such old tall trees in the city center.
To increase the distance and time of the walk, I decided to go to the city park near the Circus. There's still snow lying among the trees where the sun's rays don't reach. It should be noted that after the relatively hot, abnormal weather last week, the usual April temperatures returned, at about 5-6 degrees Celsius.
These stones caught my attention. I didn't see them last fall. Apparently, they were laid just before the winter season, and now they have come out from under the snow.
Hmm, I decided to check the stone. They seemed suspiciously similar to each other in order to have a natural origin.
Yes, it is a creation of human hands. A poured mass of granite chips.
Why don't the mall owners try to remove this dirty snow pile from the parking lot? Why didn't the city officials demand that this dirt be removed? The answer is simple - in Soviet times, from April 22 to May 1, mass cleanups of the territories of all settlements were carried out with the involvement of the entire population. It was called "clean-up days." They began their history in 1919, when even the Leader of the World Proletariat, Vladimir Lenin, carried logs at such an event. This is such a long-standing meme. But city officials still like it, because the cleaning of the city is carried out free of charge by the residents themselves. And up to this point, no one is engaged in cleaning in the city after the winter period.
The city is under construction. Whether it's good or not, I won't say. But I am glad that new houses are being built on the site of some empty territories in the city center, on the site of dilapidated old workshops. It is disappointing that there are few parking spaces for cars around them, and the city's road infrastructure is not improving.
To summarize? I have completed both tasks. My smartwatch showed 13,500 steps, and I visited a store and bought a valve for a tire pressure sensor. When I entered the apartment, the setting Sun pleased me with such a beautiful picture.
With love
Good luck and have fun
