Yesterday I realized that I don't have any fresh photos of waterfowl for the contest by @nelinoeva, and I just don't want to show the old ones.
What to do?
We have to go to the city pond next to the circus. Ducks live on this pond even in winter. They do not fly to the southern warm regions. It's still dark in the morning before the start of the working day, so I decided to go there during my lunch break. And the weather contributed to this. The sky was clear, the sun was shining and the temperature was very comfortable only -13 degrees. You can even hold the camera without gloves.






All my reports on walks usually come with a mention of the forest. And what am I showing you now, friends? The forest again? This is a park area, which is located behind the circus. There are always a lot of strolling people here. In summer, they don't even walk on paths, but just between trees. Now only dogs run between the trees, but I did not take pictures of them, because the owners looked at me very sternly.











That's my goal. Duck. She went up to the footpath. I even know why she did it - she's waiting for passersby to feed her. But I'm going to the pond itself. I need swimming ducks, not sitting on the shore.



And here are the ducks in the water. And also - penguins!
nelinoeva, do we need penguins walking on ice for the competition? Are these people? No, you're wrong. It's definitely penguins! Watch them.






Closer to the New Year holidays, there will be less open water in the pond, frosts will bind the pond with ice and ducks will huddle tightly together under this bank.

And now there are people who feed the ducks. Ducks immediately began to jump out of the water and run and fly to people. That's why these birds stay on this pond in winter. Here they will always get food from the hands of people.






I have fulfilled my mission today - I have prepared photos of waterfowl. Tomorrow I will try to show them to you, friends, lovers of birds.
I also went to the cafe "Delicious and period". This is what used to be a McDonald's, then I walked through the amusement area near the circus and headed to the car. I have to go to the office already.



On the way back I came across women with skis. It is clear that women are already at retirement age and they can afford such walks on such a wonderful sunny day.
And I need to work for another 12 years before retirement. I hope I live to see this day.
