I needed to buy some personal things, to be more specific clothes. I am not a woman who lives for shopping, I buy when I need it and it has to be something I really like. Plus I had to evaluate the value for money.
The day was cloudy, the sky absolutely white and I wanted to go for a walk, so I combined both. For this the best place and where there is the most variety of products I considered was the Larios Shopping Centre.
It opened shortly after I arrived in Malaga, about five years ago.
It is very large, consisting of two floors and occupies too many square metres to walk through in a single day, so I started with the ground floor.
The design on the outside is very attractive to the eye and it has a very attractive main entrance with ramps and stairs and another one at the back, which was the simpler one I chose. The idea was just to enter.
In Spain there are a lot of telephone companies and the variety to choose from is very large. In the shopping centres there is always a big stand with offers that you can approach and consult.
This big multi-coloured giant materialised on my walk, it was a great surprise and I love it. Everyone knows how much I love colours. They give life.
You may wonder what a smurf is... no, it's not a blue cartoon, here it's a sandwich, usually you can eat that or some pastries with a nice coffee.
But the same place had these ice creams in the window that made me very hungry.
Then these cakes and pastries. They all looked super delicious. It made me even hungrier. If I have to choose I prefer the ice cream, I love ice cream, especially the one with chocolate chips.
The decor is beautiful, lots of colour and style, which makes it an ideal place for a pleasant stroll while you can appreciate the shops.
I don't wear watches, I don't think I have since the mobile phones started to be used, but this shop is a real eye catcher, lots of glitter, style and beautiful watches. Who wouldn't look at them?
In front of the watches was the Zara shop, it is well known all over the world and here it is subdivided into Zara for women, Zara for men and Zara home. In this case, it is the men's shop, elegant suits and very fine clothes.
In the central area of the shopping centre I could find many cafés with colourful designs. This one had a sign offering me toast with avocado and coffee for 4.5 euros, not bad for a drink while strolling around.
The sweet shops, or chuches as they are called here, are a classic and are a must, but they don't appeal to me, I hardly eat sugar, simply because I don't like things that are too cloying.
Finally I arrive at the shop I was looking for, Primark. It's a huge shop, but this time I only went through the ground floor where I found what I was looking for.
The variety of products is always surprising, changing in styles and designs.
How about these beach hats?
Some brightly coloured toys for the kids.
I love the scented candles, they give a nice atmosphere to the house.
Ornaments of all kinds, many specially made for the Easter holidays.
Always a decoration with flowers creates a special place.
Everywhere I looked in this section of home, decorations and household items, everything was beautiful and generated a lot of warmth. I like that a lot.
Once I got what I was looking for, I left the shop and found this space. A bit small for an adult, but ideal for children.
I am always struck by the hanging decorations in this kind of places, these were made of paper. It is a great detail that they have placed between the escalators.
There are also games for the kids, a space for them to be entertained and have a fun time while the parents have coffee, for example.
Don't forget the smurf.
Near the children's playground was this shop just for them. Well, actually there are a lot of adults who like games.
The Playmobil shop had a security guard at the entrance, or maybe it was a representative. I don't know, but he looked super fancy in there and welcomed those who entered.
It was a productive walk, I got what I wanted and also enjoyed a lot of style, design, colours, decorations, games and not to forget the delicious ice cream.
Thank you very much for joining me on this varied walk. Best regards to all of you and see you next time.
Amonet.
