Hello to everyone and especially to the Hivers of this beautiful community where I have posted before.
I recently visited my sister and told her that I was going to go to the Clinical Surgical Hospital to get an appointment for her and although I got up very early, there was no transport to leave the Abel Santamaria, where I live, and I had to take a truck to El Caney along the highway and walk about three kilometres to get to the hospital.
But a promise is a promise and I had to keep my word even if there was no transport.
I had to rest at intervals, because it's a considerable distance, and I'm not so young anymore.
When I looked under the barriers where I was lying down I saw this river that I had never seen before, by the way it was very dirty and more than a river it looked like a rubbish dump, what a pity that people do not understand the damage that they are doing to themselves by polluting the river water.
After resting for a while I continued my walk until I reached the hospital.
Finally, I arrived, but I was sweaty from all the walking and I had to wipe myself with wipes, which I always have in my bag, as I always go out with my girls, but this time I went out alone.
I rested for two minutes and went to look for the doctor, who fortunately I was able to see and gave me an appointment to take my sister on Friday, as well as giving them some tests to bring the results on the day of the consultation.
My walk was worth it, because if I hadn't done it, I would still be at the bus stop waiting for something because there is no transport. And there are some things that cannot be postponed and this is one of them.
