As a dog owner I always look for different routes for our walks to spice up our days a little. Dogs can get bored with the same route too, not just us. Fortunately, we have some nice options in Szeged. One of the most popular one is the Tisza-Maros Teaching Trail, which is inside the city borders. It is a teaching trail because there are several information posts about the local flora next to it.
It is right next to the Tisza river, and ends where the Maros river meets with the Tisza.
The trail is ~ 4 km long, and there is zero elevation, because Szeged is a part of the Great Hungarian Plains.
It is an ideal place to walk dogs, because this is one of the places where we can let them off leash in the city. Also, they can go in the water when the weather is a little warmer.
There are also places where people can gather around a fire cooking something.
