Turning a simple stroll into a journey to the whole world . . .
Even though I haven't fully explored the town of Danao just yet, it has amazed me a lot already starting from its iconic and historic church built in 1755 and to its majestic mountainous landscape (which I will be exploring a part of soon)! But there's another surprise! - A cheerful park filled with colorful replicas of the world's most famous landmarks.
After I visited the town's oldest church last time, I decided to take a stroll around the Sands Getaway which is famous for its captivating park featuring the famous replicas of the world. I once visited this place when it first opened to the public but that was nighttime so I hadn't seen and experience its bold and vibrant beauty during the day.
Now that I was able to explore the place in broad daylight, not only I was amazed by the statues but I was also impressed by the creative minds and hands behind this vibrant plaza. The beauty of the place was elevated even more with the backdrop of the stunning blue ocean, turning it into a truly picturesque destination.
So come and walk with me and let's travel the world together through these beautiful masterpieces!
Let's go! Taraaa!
As soon I reach the Sands Getaway, my feet brought me to its plaza. I noticed that there were a handful of people in the place relaxing, sightseeing and delighting in the mesmerizing view of the sea. The plaza served as a vibrant hub for visitors to unwind and soak in the beauty that surrounded them.
Some of the replicas are the famous landmark of the Statue of Liberty, Taj Mahal, Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, Leaning Tower of Pisa, and the Dutch WindMill. Each of the replica is placed on a platform so they really stood out in the park.
Taj Mahal
My favorite among all is the statue of Taj Mahal. I always admire this temple and how it stands as a timeless symbol of love. Seeing its replica in front of me feels like I also have travel to India. Hehe.
I was also amazed of its intricate design such as its tiny carvings , drawings and its tiny windows. There were so much to appreciate! And look closely, that little girl is trying to park her red car in front of the temple!
Green Eiffel
Among the attractive replica in the plaza is the tall Eiffel Tower. Its light green color background with black gave the illusion that is is a hollow tower. And as you see there is a kid sitting at the back of the tower. How lucky she is to be able to climb Eiffel!
Oh' I'm planning of adapting this theme in my Christmas tree. Do you think it's okay?
Better Safe, It's a Leaning Tower!
I continued my stroll and reached Italy.Haha! In front of me was the Leaning Tower of Pisa. No one was sitting or standing close at the tower, perhaps a wise move to avoid any unexpected mishaps! Maybe they are trying to avoid the tower will fall. Better safe!
But yeah, the replica is great. It definitely sparked the curiosity of every viewer to question the foundation of the tower and why it is leaning?
Dutch Windmill
Another one is the Dutch WindMill. At first glance, I was wondering why its fan seem to touch the ground. I thought here was something wrong in this architecture. But when I inspected it, the fan had fallen off. Hopefully they will fix this, as this might give confusion to the kids and give them a wrong impression about the windmill.
Well anyways, despite that the replica is broken, the grandpa and grandma were enjoying their time and had found the best spot to sit on. They look so comfortable sitting behind the windmill while watching the sea. Aren't they? haha
Big Ben and Statue of Liberty!
Last is the Big Ben Giant tower. Still it is colored green. Now I realized the motif of these fascinating replicas is green! The design of the Big Ben statue, like the others, caught my eye with its intricate details as well!
Saving the best for last, there stood the Statue of Liberty, and the setting couldn't have been more perfect with the backdrop of the deep blue ocean. While I noticed that the proportions of the statue might not be perfect, its presence and the picturesque ocean view was more than enough to evoke the essence of New York.
As I explored Sands Getaway Danao and its enchanting plaza of world replicas, I find myself immersed in a sense of joy and wonder. This charming plaza, with its diverse array of world replicas, made me feel like I was traveling the globe with each step. I felt like I was transported to the different corners of the world!
That's it for my stroll around the world. Thank you so much for reading. I hope you had fun. I wish you all safe and well always.
Don't forget to smile often!🤗😍😘
