A random and spontaneous WednesdayWalk after work tonight to check ...

Hi there all,

I hope that you're all well and enjoying your #WednesdayWalk virtual tours from everyone around the world in this awesome community with thanks to Hive account@tattoodjay and I hope that it's making you all smile like it does Hive account@elizacheng.

So when I got home from work tonight, there was still a bit of daylight left, which was great because the clouds rolling in were absolutely sensational, so I got the new camera and took it for a run just down to Southbank as I haven't been down there since we got out of lockdown and thought that it would be a great spot to test out the camera.

So I started off here, snapping these shots on the way to the side of the Yarra River as I have always just loved the look of these 2 scenes- both completely different to each other but literally right across the road from each other.

The shot above is the nature strip in the centre of the road and the photo below is a residential apartment building which was renovated from an old building (though I don't know what it was)

And then around the corner I came across this swarm of bees.

After dodging the bees, I got to the riverfront to see the humans out and about ( in the freezing cold...hello summer, we're waiting...Still...)

After dodging the humans, I spotted this shot of the 2 flat roofed boats on either side of the bridge from under the bridge.

And as it got darker, the lights from the Afloat restaurant/bar barge came on, reflecting on the water.

I then turned west in search of the sunset, but saw this stunning, silvery scene instead.

And as I walked around, the sky got darker but the city lights got brighter and I couldn't help but take this shot (and a whole heap of others) of the back of Flinders St Station

And then I noticed the new 'disco' tower on the very top pf a skyscraper in the background

And then had to test out the Moon mode again too!

Not bad eh, since it was THIS far away!
